Johanna Rose felt at home the moment she walked into her first yoga studio in Seattle in 2002. Almost immediately she began working with a senior assessor of Iyengar yoga. Johanna studied precise alignment and learned how to utilize props to help individuals reach the full potential of each pose. Incorporating vinyasa and increasing her knowledge of pranayama and meditation added to her love for yoga. Johanna believes yoga allows us to understand each other and the world viscerally and without judgment.
Johanna offers classes blending vinyasa flow with precise alignment. Hoping to impart a sense of well being to her students she also brings levity and variety to her classes. Johanna continues her yoga learning with teacher trainings as well as from her personal practice.
